Binance to Restrict Eight Services and Remove 22 Tokens for Brazilian Users Starting October 27, 2026

Eight Products Restricted, 22 Tokens Removed

Binance will restrict eight cryptocurrency services and remove 22 tokens from trading for Brazilian customers beginning October 27, 2026. The affected services are Binance Loans, Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, Margin, Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops, and Alpha 2.0. Starting October 27, Brazilian clients will no longer be able to open new positions in these products. Existing loans will enter a repayment-only mode, allowing borrowers to pay off debts without incurring additional penalties related to the transition. Margin positions already opened through Binance's Abu Dhabi entity may remain open, but clients will not be able to increase exposure, transfer additional collateral, or obtain new loans. Binance has not set a mandatory deadline for closing these existing margin positions. Binance will also stop trading access for 22 tokens for residents of Brazil.

The affected assets are XVG, USDE, USTC, DCR, DUSK, PIVX, BB, MANTRA, ONE, GMT, TFUEL, ZIL, ONT, RVN, ACX, HIT, PYR, VANRY, VIC, ICX, SCRT, and STORJ. Users can continue to trade these assets until October 27. After this date, existing balances may be held, withdrawn, or reinvested according to platform provisions. The restrictions apply exclusively to Brazilian users and do not represent a global removal of these tokens from the list.

Binance Moves Brazil Operations to Local Entities

The reorganization is linked to Resolutions 519, 520, and 521 of Brazil's Central Bank, which establish requirements for virtual asset service providers, including authorization, operational controls, and reporting obligations. By October 29, Brazilian clients will receive individual payment accounts through Binance Brasil Corretora de Câmbio e Valores Mobiliários, the former entity known as Sim;paul. Regulated cryptocurrency services will be provided by BBrasil Sociedade Prestadora de Serviços de Ativos Virtuais, another company in the Binance group. The digital asset deposit will remain at Nest Clearing and Custody, regulated in Abu Dhabi. In general, users will not need to repeat identity verification, except in cases where information requires updating. Binance has also clarified that cryptocurrency derivatives are not offered directly to Brazilian residents through the local entity. Eligible clients who access derivatives independently can use a separate international account managed through the Abu Dhabi entity, under applicable terms.

Another change will take effect starting November 1, when international cryptocurrency transfers will require additional information about the transaction purpose and counterparty. Binance will report eligible transactions to Brazil's Central Bank, and users may experience delays if required information is missing. The change also includes the introduction of client risk profile assessments and a review of tax reporting arrangements followed by migration to local entities. For Binance, these modifications represent a significant adjustment of operations in one of the largest cryptocurrency markets in Latin America. For Brazilian clients, the immediate effects are reduced product availability, limited access to certain tokens, and the appearance of new compliance requirements. The transition illustrates how Brazil's legal framework for virtual assets is reshaping cryptocurrency services without banning ordinary spot trading.

October 27 is the main deadline for product restrictions and token removals, followed by account migration on October 29 and additional requirements for international transfers starting November 1.
